Curly Half Up, Half Down Style

I really like to style hair. Like, a lot. If you ever find yourself in my chair and I'm not talking to you, it's probably because I'm trying to create that perfect curl. Maybe it's the really tight curl so that it will hold all night, or the loose effortless curl (that's popular these days). It really depends on your hair type. (The more the merrier!) The curl is the foundation of most of my hairstyles for weddings. It allows me to manipulate the hair into most any shape.

In my hair kit, I carry about 5 curling irons of all shapes and sizes. I mainly only use one to create most of my wedding hairstyles. The one I use is the Sultra Bombshell 1 inch Curling Rod. I got it as a gift and didn't use it for about 2 years. This was probably because I was so used to just using my 1 inch Hot Tools curling iron. One day, I picked it up and it changed my life forever...and ever. It is so easy to use and allows me control of any curl I want to create. I love it.

Pictured below are some of the hairstyles I have created using this clipless curling rod. FYI: The half up, half down hairstyle have been the most requested hairstyle for me this season.
