Eyelash Extensions & Brows Policies

 I appreciate your business. Please be advised of these policies for me to best serve you.


NO GUESTS

No additional friends or family will be permitted in the studio, except for a parent or guardian accompanying a minor client.

BOOKING

Please book online on our website for your appointment. 
A $40 deposit will be taken to reserve your appointment and will be applied towards your balance due after completion of service. 

 Return Clients: Please call or text me at 323-813-6088 to book your lash refill appointment. You can also book online.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

  •  Avoid caffeine to limit eye movement.

  •  Arrive with clean lashes or brows and no eye makeup for the best retention.

  • If you are coming from work with makeup on, please allow additional time for you to clean your lashes in studio.

  •  Use the restroom.

DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Avoid talking during your treatment.

  • Please limit phone use for emergency purposes only.

  • Headphones are encouraged.

  •  Sleeping and snoring are welcomed.

  • Avoid opening your eyes during your lash service.

  • Lay as still as you can.  Please let us know when you need to sit up and stretch. 

ARRIVAL TIME

Please aim to arrive before or on time to your scheduled appointment time with clean/makeup-free eyes and lashes. Extra time spent cleaning your lashes will mean less time adding lash extensions. If you arrive after your scheduled appointment time, it may not be possible to extend the time available for your booked service; if your service is shortened due to your late arrival, you will still be charged the full cost of the service.

CHANGING YOUR APPOINTMENT  

12 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel a booked appointment without a $25 penalty before your next appointment.

CANCELLATION + NO SHOWS

As a courtesy, appointment reminders are sent out 24 hours by email. If an appointment is cancelled, or rescheduled less than 12 hours of your appointment, you will be charged $25 before your next appointment can be scheduled again.

Any and all no show appointments will require full payment of the service with an additional $25 fee prior to booking again.

In turn, I promise to keep appointments on time, give you my full and undivided attention and of course, the best lash work I have to offer!

SICKNESS OR FAMILY EMERGENCY

If you, or another person in your household, has an infectious or contagious illness, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment for a later date. For your safety and other clients, please do not come to your appointment sick. If it is assumed you are currently sick, your appointment may be cut short or cancelled and rescheduled for when you are healthy again. A one-time allowance of a last minute cancellation or reschedule will be permitted for sickness or family emergency. After that, the cancellation and no show policy is in effect. Please be aware that your new appointment will be made after 14 days from your cancelled appointment due to sickness.

OTHER ARTISTS’ WORK - NEW CLIENT LASH TOUCH UPS

If you currently have eyelash extensions on from another lash artist, there may be the possibility that your current extensions will need to be removed and a new full set will apply. Due to the unregulated nature of eyelash extension trainings, certifications and state board regulations, there are a number of lash artists that have been improperly trained. At Pa Kou Beauty, our priority is your natural lash health and eye safety. Thus, if you are coming in for a touch up from another lash artist, then you agree that your current extensions may need to be removed and a new full set will be applied at the appropriate full set price. This will be discussed and fully explained to you prior to any service being performed.

PAYMENT

Contactless payment is encouraged.  We accept Venmo, Zelle or credit card.

Cash is also preferred only in exact payment.

NO REFUNDS

There are no refunds on any services that have been performed. 

You are paying for artist time, product and other expenses used to provide you with a service. No refunds will be given for any reason on services or products. If you are unhappy with a service, you may contact me within 72 hours of your appointment to discuss your concerns. If a fix can be done to address your concerns, it will be done so with a complimentary 30-minute express touch up if it is at the fault of application or product. Your complimentary touch up must be done within 7 days from your last scheduled appointment. Any concerns addressed after 72 hours of your last appointment, or if you failed to follow the proper aftercare instructions, will be charged at full price for the service.

ALLERGIES

If you have had an allergic reaction after any eyelash extension service in the past, you may still susceptible to allergic reactions. 
Please contact me for more information and on how you may be able to receive eyelash extensions again.

There is no refund if you develop an allergy due to eyelash extensions.  5% of the population is allergic to the ingredient in the lash glue.  This can occur after you have been exposed to the lash glue at least three times in your life.  You can even develop an allergy after years of receiving eyelash extensions. 

In the case of an allergic reaction, please seek medical attention.

We appreciate your business. So that we can best serve all our clients, please be advised of these policies.

Please contact us to book your hair and makeup appointment.

A $250 retainer and a signed contract will be required to book and secure your wedding date.

APPOINTMENT -

 In Studio Appointment

·      Please arrive on time to your appointment.

·      Come with a clean, makeup-free face.

·      Have clean and completely dry hair ready to be styled.

·      Bring any hairpieces or inspiration photos that you will need to complete your best look.

On Location Appointment

·      Please have all parties come on time or before their assigned time slot.

·      Come with a clean, makeup-free face.

·      Have clean and completely dry hair ready to be styled. Hair is completely dried after 24 hours.

·      Bring any hairpieces or inspiration photos that you will need to complete your best look.

ADDITIONAL FEES

There will never be any hidden charges. 
All travel fees will be included in the invoice that you will receive a week prior to your scheduled appointment.

Hotel Parking Fees – You will be responsible for any parking fees for one car incurred by your artist.  This can be billed to your hotel room or added to your invoice on the day of.
